Tara's Baby Shower

Last weekend I left my favorite two guys on their own and headed down to Tara's baby shower in LA.  I was quite sure Connor was in good hands, but didn't mean that I wouldn't miss he and Dan.  They both survived quite well and between Wendy's and the Wheeler house, had plenty to eat too.
I too had a great weekend, with plenty of good food.  Dina was an amazing chauffeur all weekend and picked me up from the airport and let me accompany her where ever she was headed all weekend.  Eggy & John were great hosts and Lisa's house was perfect for the shower.  We spend Friday night doing the things you don't get to do on a super busy weekend like a wedding or when you have 15 friends in town.  We had a simple dinner, got to do some party-planning and stayed up to the wee hours catching up like old times.  Saturday was a beautiful sunny day, about 73 degrees and perfect for my WHITE Montana skin.  It was so fun to get to see a very cute prego Tara surrounded by family and friends.... sad I missed out on spa day in the Bay but glad I caught a glimpse of little round T :)  Can't wait for Baby Kobe.  Sunday we spend the day doing what we do best.... HANGING OUT!  It was such great catch up time, I loved every minute of it!!!
I realized only after the fact that we had one representative from each room of 801.... PLUS we were lucky enough to have Allie P. too (who makes an unbeatable fruit salad with a little grape slicing help from Mr. Pittman)!!!

Looking forward to some more great hang out time in July when we get to celebrate Allie & Mike getting MARRIED!  Watch out world, Tara will be a skinny little mama and I will get to be the whale on the beach!

Dance Dance

We have a little "hippity hopper" in our house.  That means two things... (1) Connor loves to Dance and (2) Lish has been watching too much "Happy Feet" recently (and is now stealing quotes from the movie for her everyday verbage).  He is so fun to watch as he jumps off the couch at various points during the movie to just start dancing in the middle of the living room.  Here's a clip from the end of the movie.... ENJOY!

p.s.  I figure two posts in a single evening makes up for a month without... at least that's what I'm hoping.

It's Already March!

Can't believe how quickly time flies!  This is a quick one but I had to get back with it at some point :)

As you can imagine, Connor continues to entertain us.  He is literally running and dancing and laughing (and throwing a few temper tantrums) all day long.  He goes over to the refrigerator and pulls on the handle to the freezer (the only one he can reach) and makes this loud grunting sound to get it open all while asking for "miiiiii" -- translation milk.

He's also begun saying "ssssssseeee" (please) when he really wants something to go his way.  Typically it involves more fruit or something he wants for dessert or to get his hands on the remote control.  Here's a couple recent shots....

He loves his froggy rain boots -- getting ready for April Showers... (once we replace the snow with rain :)
Yep -- that's Connor eating lettuce.  Dan didn't do this until he was 21.
Had so much fun this past weekend at Tara's shower last weekend!!!  Looking forward to seeing more of you in July :)
